What Could Have Been....
Well, we all know that Al Gore won the 2000 election. Since then, I've often daydreamed what could have been (by the way, this deserves its own article). Obviously, Gore would of handled the aftermath of 9/11 better (he might not have used a megaphone as well, but he surely wouldn't have thrown away all the world's goodwill towards America) and certainly the economy would benefit others aside from the rich.
But would a President Gore limited the devastating effects of the Tsunami? Maybe, because he had a plan of a Global Disaster Information Network. This would have helped, and could have helped in the recent mudslides. And guess what asshole Gore-bashers....it used the internet....yeah, the internet, the thing he "invented."
We could of had a President that formed his own innovative ideas that could have saved lives. Bush has only heard of such rumors on the "internets." What a joke.
Thank you Mr. Gore for you vision. I'm sorry the Republican thieves would not let you serve the country that elected you.

Nice link Chuck (Gore involvement on Internet)... very interesting reading - agreed that Gore unquestionably would have handled the post 9/11 world with a broader perspective, but that's not what the majority of Americans wanted at that time. We wanted blood, torture, murder, and tsunami-like destruction and chaos for those involved - you know, the kind of results Bush has been able to deliver in Iraq despite little to no 9/11 influence
