The Return of One-Sided Ideology
Well, I am back, sorry to disappoint anyone. I was never really gone, I was just out of town this week taking the Arizona bar exam. I was just kidding with my leave of absence, so sorry for anyone that seriously thought I was that big of a dick that I would quit the site because of basketball. It was a blogger "sweeps week" stunt, that may have appeared too serious. Thanks to everyone that was concerned over my absence (I actually did receive calls and emails). And for those that think my posting is one-sided ideology, I am glad I can return to ruin your reading. (on a side note: Bush supporters complaining of one-sided ideology. ha. these are the same guys that thought we were getting greeted with flowers in Iraq.)

Anyways, I have been out of the news loop for a while, so I have some catching up to do. The one thing I did see that I wanted to talk about was the Bush tapes. Bush admits drug use, and Bush admits misleading the public in his answers. But there is one thing that really, really pissed me off about these tapes: this asshole makes fun of Al Gore for being honest by admitting he tried pot. That is sick. That's what you get with these guys. Making fun of Gore for being honest to the American people. Sadly, that always Gore's problem, because he was so honest.....kinda like how he honestly discussed social security DURING the campaign.

Jiri Welsch is no Michael Redd but we can worry about that in the offseason. However, he is wearing #44 so he is bound to succeed.
#44!! Wasn't that Huffman's highschool number? (To think, I can't remember what I ate for lunch yesterday, but I can remember that.)
Chuck,
My comment refering to you as a "one sided ideologue" stands. Take a look at Bob's post on Bush's speech this week in Europe. Bob will not reflexively go against anything Bush says and can honestly state he agrees with parts. You, on the other hand, will automatically will disagree with, deny, or find the worst in anything that isn't moonbat left. This is what makes you an ideologue. Your closed mindedness makes you no different than Pat Buchanan or Maureen Dowd.
Speaking of Arizona and bar exam, when do you find out whether or not you passed? I know you and your trial laywer friend John Edwards must be fuming about tort reform. Since KKKarl Rove and company have made suing those eeevil big business much more difficult, I have come up with some suggestions to help get your legal career off the ground:
1. You could sue for the release of all illegal immigrants in the Arizona state prison system, which is 75% of all the prisoners. I'm sure the tax paying citizens would just love not having to pay the costs of incarceration.
2. You could try a class-action suit against Mexico for damages suffered by schools in Arizona that have to spend more per pupil for illegal immigrant children that lack basic English skills when their parents are not paying in to the system.
3. Sue the Diamondbacks for ugly uniforms. I would join in this suit.
Per your Gannon comment refering to his sexuality, so? Who cares. I was always given the impression that liberals don't care about sexual preference. So why the ad hominem attack for a facet of Mr. Gannon's life that has nothing to do with reporting?

By the way...
My highschool football jersey number was #83.
I believe I am still the only player on record to boot-tackle an opponent with his face-mask.
Ah...the glory days!
83 - the same # as Jason Weigand
Chuck,
Regarding Gore being honest in the deabtes:
Q: What is your Social Security plan?
GORE: I will keep it in a lockbox. The interest savings, I would put right back into it. That extends the life for 55 years. I am opposed to a plan that diverts 1 out of every 6 dollars away from the Trust Fund. It would go bankrupt within this generation.
BUSH: We want to allow younger workers to take some of their own money & put it in safe investments so that $1 trillion grows to $3 trillion. The money stays within the system.
GORE: I give a new incentive for younger workers to invest their own money. My plan is “Social Security Plus.” The governor’s plan is “Social Security Minus.” Your future benefits would be cut by the amount that’s diverted into the stock market. And if you make bad investments, that’s too bad.
BUSH: Your plan is “Social Security Plus Huge Debt.” If we don’t trust younger workers to manage some of their own money, it’s going to be impossible to bridge the gap without causing huge payroll taxes or major benefit reductions.
-verbatim from the 2000 debate in Boston
So you're saying that Al Gore admits in 2000 that there is social security problem. Al Gore also endorses private accounts in the debates. In effect, by citing Mr. Gore's honesty in the debates you agree there is a social security problem and you are in fact for private accounts. No?

Jordan:
My Ideology.
1) I dont doubt that you mean your statement. I am sure you dont like reading what i say. when i make something up or am flat out wrong, let me know. i will try to explain
2) its not my goal to show where i am open-minded. i am, on certain issues. i just don't feel much of a need for that. my goal is to make others on the fence to realize what a failure bush and the other republicans are.
3) as for now, (while I think bob is great) i think someone slipped something in his drink to get so dillusional that we can start trusting bush. this guy has four years, and i feel it is the roll of people like myself to fight him every step of the way, because if we don't, there could be even more tax cuts for the rich, and more misleading of americans to trick support for the death of american troops.
4) If my close mindedness is like buchanan, then that is good in some ways, because buchanan has courage to stand up against his party when something is wrong.
5) you really show your one-sided ideology, when you make fun of john edwards and trial lawyers. i am sure you don't know the facts his suits. i am sure you dont know the effect of tort reform. I'll summarize:
a) tort reform denies jurors (the people) from awarding what they think is justice.
b) you might say, that's not bad, because it will lower insurance costs. sadly, that is where you are wrong. there is no evidence of any effect. in the state that have already capped damages, there has been no change in insurance (actually, its gotten worse).
Social Security:
1) I am saying that Al Gore openly approached the issue with his plan DURING the campaign. Bush never said any of this benefit cut stuff in 2004. And everything he said in 2000 is hollow, because he never approached the issue for 4 years.
There is no way for us to know if al gore would have definitely done what he said during the campaign, but we know bush didnt. We know bush never said anything about benefit cuts. but now he wants them.
2) Yes, there is a problem. Of course there is. Al Gore had a reasonable plan (probably not the end all solution) to put the entire surplus in a lockbox. Bush gave away the surplus to his rich friends.
i like the jiri welsh pick up for the cavs. could be huge for them.
Chuck, he really could be an asset as long as Silas uses him correctly. I can see Silas bringing him in only when were in need for a few "three" attempts and then sit him back down. Which means he will always be cold..I think we need to give him about 20min a game to utilize him correctly.
i re-read what i posted. i don't think bob's dillusional at all and my words were too harsh. i just think bob (and others) were "getting too soft". just like his post was titled
Marty,
Jiri and Newble need to split the 48 minutes at his spot.
Rotation(if silas was a good coach):
Center: Z 38 minutes, Tractor 10 minutes (maybe diop)
PF: Gooden 36 minutes, Tractor 12 minutes
SF: Newble 24 minutes, Jiri 24 minutes
SG: LB 42 minutes, McInnis 6 minutes
PG: McInnis 32 minutes, Snow 16 minutes
That's pretty solid, but I would like to see Pavlovic in there as well
no maybe about Diop.....get him in there

BREAKING NEWS
YOU ALL ARE SO MATURE. THIS SITE IS EMBARASSING.
MORE TO COME ON THIS REVEALING EXPOSE ON HOW PEOPLE HAVE NO LIVES.
Anonymous, you must really care about the participants on this site to help us realize we have no life. I'm sure you're a much more interesting person just by reading your post, and I want to thank you for your honesty. I just have one question, if this site is so horrible, why waste your time even making a post to say so? I'm sure you have more important things to do! I guess my feeble mind can't grasp your logic. Please, leave more enthralling posts so I can one day be like you.

i guarantee you are a bigger loser then anyone that reads this site. fuck off.
How come eveything has to be about politics (I realize sports are sometimes featured)? I don't think it influences people one way or another. I seriously doubt the Keelers, Pattokos', NUGEs', or O.J. Temples' of the world will change their opinions. Just like Chuck, Cooter, and Buster the 3 legged wonder dog are unlikely to change their mindset(s). Conservitives are pricks and liberals are dirty smelly hippies.
People should spend more time talking about puppies, clouds that look like stuff, and being nestled between a woman's or man's (whatever your preference) firm, perky breasts. NO NUKES!!! NO NUKES!!! NO NUKES!!!

Chuck,
Your words weren't too harsh. When I'm dillusional please say so, I appreciate your opinion. I was in a weird mood when I wrote that. On a similar note: I think that i'm bipolar nowadays.
About the anonymous heckler...people are so funny sometimes. You have to laugh. I mean what is the guy so angry about? Seriously.
