New Attacks in the Tube Stations

British Security has evacuated three subway stations after explosions and are investigating an "incident" on a bus. Listen to BBC Radio for updates.

l - Scotland Yard confirmed three incidents on the subway and one on the bus. Police are backing the public far away from these three sites for fear of unexploded devices going off. No reported casualities.

l - Speculation on BBC Radio Show "Five Live" is that there were bombs on at least two trains. People heard loud blasts, but no explosions. They are suggesting that the bombs blasting caps may have gone off, but not the bomb itself. There is supposedly an unexploded device in Shepard's Bush.

On the top deck of the #26 bus, the windows were blown out. They are describing it as a "nail bomb" which is a crude explosive packed with shards of steel.

Unrelated:

Liberals have an excellent oppertunity with the nomination of Roberts.

True, Bush will definately get his way with this Nominee, but the dems have two lines ways to deal with this.

If Rush is right, and the Dems are "imploding" than they can prove it by fighting this guy tooth and nail, and making asses of themselves. The media is putting a halo on this man's head, so a big fight will confirmthe widespread notion that the dems are simply an anti-bush party.

The other way to deal with this is to have the leaders of the democratic party sternly announce their reservations for the candidate, but confirm him anyway. But they must threaten to block anyone more conservative than Roberts.

Bush's nominee was a weak opening bid to what will become a long bargaining agreement when it's time to nominate a chief justice. You dems better show your Muscle, or my favorite contender, Janice, is going to be sitting atop the supreme court.

That would most definatly spell the end of affirmative action, and the powers of congress? Refer to Article 1, and the 10th ammendment.
