I think the kinds of beer this man and woman chose ot save are a pretty good indication of how poorly some people doen there are doing, not to make light of the situation. But, like you said Kyle, of all things to make a priority, Natural Ice and Keystone Ice tall-boys and a few Red Dogs.
On a more serious note, hopefully you or someone else reads this far down and may have some information for me. Do you know of any organizations through which or any other means by which I could volunteer or work in the clean-up effort rather than just sending money? While I understand money helps, I'd really rather find a way to go down and volunteer if anyone knows how one could go about that. Thanks
Now, c'mon, let's be fair. I think I also see some tomatoes, mustard, and a botle of diet squirt on that raft. They've gotta be covering at least 3-4 food groups w/ that cargo.
Darwal, I heard on the radio coming into work that the best way to volunteer is to contact your local Red Cross or Salvation Army. Depending on where you live, they may be organizing teams to head down.

I had to put this picture up. Of all the things to make a priority.
Love them or hate them, the locals there are certainly unusual. I'm such a bleeding heart,I fell in love with New Orleans BECAUSE of such locals.
