The Washington Note of the liberal blogosphere is reporting:
1. 1-5 indictments are being issued. The source feels that it will be towards the higher end.
2. The targets of indictment have already received their letters.
3. The indictments will be sealed indictments and "filed" tomorrow.
4. A press conference is being scheduled for Thursday.

Completely unrelated, but given that this is an internet sit, somebody needs to post something about the World Summit on the Information Society, and their discussions concern giving control of the internet to the U.N.

I hope the left can for once forget about the good intentions of this organization, and denounce the entire idea. The www is one of America's most freedom enhancing creations, for us and the entire world. Should an organization that puts Libya on the chiar of the human rights commision really be trusted with the crown jewel of a free society?

Would Al Gore really be willing to give up custody of his favorite invention?

you know what? i'm fucking sick of the al gore joke. al gore said he "took the initiative to help create the internet" - wow, a senator taking credit for something he helped fund, how unprecidented. jeff, you are smarter than republican talking points, especialy super-old-tired-discredited ones. and you'll bash the UN for putting libya on the human rights comm. but i'm sure you don't care that the US soon will have more to do with helping prop that terrible regime by now allowing US cmpanies to do buisiness there.

Dude, that was a joke, I know what he said, I just wanted to end my post with a one-liner (I thought I was supposed to be the angry one?)

C'mon man, don't confirm Rush's stereotypes concerning you "angry liberals"

I'll bash the U.N. and I'll bash U.S. foreign policy. But I will not bash ICANN and their current handling of the internet's virtual infrastructure, nor can I criticize the free-market's handling of on of the most important endeavors in history.

I think giving control of the interent to the world's most impotent beaurocracy is a bad idea. Maybe you agree with me, maybe you don't, and if you don't, first relax, and make yourself a vodka tonic, then let's discuss some issues.
