Headlines (and my ticked off response)
Headline: Former Clevelander accused of aiding Nazis - Lithuania pursues case against man.
Great, hope they nail the guy. But why don't they pursue the case against the Bush family (specifically W's grandpa, Prescott Bush) for aiding the Nazis and Hitler?
Headline: Pentagon Expanding Its Domestic Surveillance Activity - Seeks exception to Privacy Act.
I don't like this. When are these clowns at the Pentagon going to be stopped?
Headline: Vatican Drops Singer From Concert Lineup - She promoted condom use to stop AIDS.
I have problems with the Catholic Church, the church which I was raised in, but this absurd opposition to condoms is by far the most ridiculous thing the church stands for.
Headline: Ex-FEMA head (and unconvicted murderer) Mike Brown Starts a Disaster Planning Firm.
I am begging someone to remind me about this story in 3 months. I am going find the office in DC, go there, and stop people that try to go to his office......it will be my act of charity towards the mentally retarded.
Not A Headline, But Should Be: Troops dying at all-time high pace in Iraq - For the first time, there are 2 consecutive months of more then 3 deaths per day.
Whatever, anyone still for this war is an idiot. Speaking of, I met a friend this weekend and asked him why he still likes Bush. He told me that "at a time of war, I want a Republican." Hmmmm....I guess the Democrats that won World War 1 and World War 2 weren't enough for him?
