2 Weeks Later: Bush Family Still a Bunch of Scumbags

Introductory Comment: After 2 weeks of sick leave (computer troubles) I am back in action. Thanks to Kyle, Bob, and Terra for picking up for me. I feel energized and ready to take on these disgusting Republicans......

Barbara Bush, the former first lady and current first grandma, is a serious piece of crap. Consider, in 2003 this piece of trash told Good Morning America the following about the deaths of Americans in Iraq: "Why should we hear about body bags and deaths? Oh, I mean, it's not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?" Truly shocking. The only question is why this quote not more frequently discussed?

She followed that unmentioned and horrific comment with her more infamous statement about the victims of Hurricane Katrina: "What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas... and so many of the people in the arenas here, you know, were underprivileged anyway. This is working very well for them."

Well, the old bag is up to her sick crap again. Recently, Barbara donated money to the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund. This should be a great thing, and I should be jumping for joy at further attention paid to the Katrina victims, many of whom are still homeless and helpless. However, her "donation" had specific instructions that the money be spent with an educational software company owned by her son Neil. So in reality, she didn't give a donation.....she gave her son money......and she will avoid paying taxes on that money because it is still allowed to be considered "charity".....in the name of the Katrina Relief Efforts.

Related: Just as a reminder, Neil Bush, brother of the President, is the same man that demanded a divorce from his wife BY EMAIL. Oh, and during the divorce it was revealed that, as a married man, Neil had a fetish for "Sex Romps" in Asia.

Really, I cannot get over that 2003 comment about the deaths of troops. And these a--hole Republicans claim to have some sort of superior claim to "supporting the troops" over Dems? Ridiculous.

Chuck,
That truly is a disgusting comment about the troops!!! One problem I see is that the Democrats aren't getting that message out there. They don't take advantage of stuff like that. Bush's budget proposed raising the prescription drug cost for our veterans from $9 to $15. When he came into office, it was $2. Since the wars we start are probably the reason they have to be on prescriptions anyway, they shouldn't have to pay more for their medicine. As Ted Strickland said, your values are reflected in your budget.
If the Democrats would run on these issues alone, we would sweep the elections. But instead they ramble on about everything under the sun without actually saying anything. I hope they learn in time for the 2006 elections.
Nice to have you back.

Chuck, Barbara Bush and the rest of the Bush clan are racist scumbags. Mr. West was right when he said "Bush does not care about black people".

I was reading Imperial Ambitions from Noam Chomsky this weekend and he made a good point about Bush. Bush's polocies focus on immediate gain for mostly the rich and care nothing about 10-20 years from now.
Issues like the enviroment, economy, military/defense, I could go on and on.
Global Warming is a major concern for many, but not Bush, tax cuts for the rich while we have the largest national debt ever, and nearly breaking the force in Iraq to the point where many wonder if the military could handle another war in the coming years.

I think Dems need to take these issues to the public.
On another note, the GOP in Ohio had a meeting in downtown Akron last week and one comment mentioned by their chair was

If Ohio elects a Dem. Governor (Strickland) in '06 we will be seeing the first female President in '08 in President Clinton.

Smack Down on the Neos!

Keep it up Chuck, the whole Bush clan are douchbags that were nurtured by dirty money (Nazis-WWII).

Neil is the clown prince of the clan - he actually got away with nearly collapsing the banking system!

Smack Down on the Neos!

Chuck,
You're one of the few people I know that can call a lady a piece of crap and totally get away with it.
