It's Snowing Garbage at the White House
FOXNews' Tony Snow was named Bush's new Press Secretary. I will avoid the obvious commentary on a FOXNews guy taking over, and instead I will speak to some of the unknown aspects of Snow. Here are some of the crazy things this guy has said and done.....he is going to make a perfect member for this scumbag White House.....
He likes to claim that Valerie Plame was not a covert CIA agent. This has been refuted by everyone important. He still will not correct his claim, though. I can tell he is going to fit right in.
Then Tony defended the Swift Boat liars, via his own set of lies. At the same time, he had no problem going to bat for Bush, by lying, and claiming Bush's National Guard service was legit.

However, Snow has not always been loyal to his new boss,President Bush. Often, he has been very critical of the Bush in the past. Here is a sample:
- Bush “has given the impression that [he] is more eager to please than lead." - 2005
- "George Bush has become something of an embarrassment.” - 2005
- "Little in [his] character says.....this man is truly special." - 2000
However, his new job requires being a two-faced liar, so I am sure he will have no problem ignoring those criticism and kissing ass (and lying).
Then there is his Washington Times story where, among other things, he explains, "sex is fun only when you do it right." This might draw some complaints from the Red Staters (especially the South Carolina Republicans who find it necessary to ban the sale of sex toys. Oh, and speaking of the South, who trys to show off their supposed moral high ground all the time.....check out this nice story about how "Sex Tourism," which involves pimping underage girls and other sad things, is thriving in the South), but I guess the fact that he is a handsome, white, and racist male....I am sure Republicans will embrace the guy.
And by racist, I mean that he actually freaking said that lower class blacks are "the most dangerous thing in our lifetime." End of discussion on this piece of crap.

I'm sure getting someone with a history of public speaking / dealing with media / arguing along side of Bill O'reilly were major points on his resume.
Un-related to his status as garbage....
Blogging Ohio has a post discussing Tony Snow's Ohio Roots (he's from Cincinnati). They link to an ONN story that also includes this quote.
Snow now follows fellow southwest Ohioans Rob Portman, who was tapped to be the new White House Budget Director, and House Majority Leader John Boehner to the upper echelon of DC politics.
Ryan Barilleaux, Chair of Miami University's Political Science Department, says this move could benefit the GOP in 2008.
"I don't think Boehner, Snow and Portman were selected just because of the importance of Ohio in presidential politics, but it doesn't hurt because those people can come back and campaign for the next Republican candidate for president," says Barrilleaux.
Ohio is a battleground... keep fighting the good fight Cheif Source!
Chuck - right on , as usual. Anyone who thinks these changes to the W admin represent a change of heart -----The Hope Memorial Bridge is for sale, send $30,999 in cash, 100's preferred, to ........
chuck--i am not suggesting the comments are proper or that he is not responsible for them. All I ask is think of the outlandish things you have uttered over the years. Yea I know you are not in a position of power or influence however a statement is statement.
potey: You sure you won't take a cahsier's check? My giant oil company would be happy to cut one :)
Fred: What one publishes and what ones says in private should be measured by the same standard. While we can all be doofuses from time to time, Snow is scary... really scarry.... no i mean like i think he's hiding in my closet scary. If this is what he consistantly says in public think about what he's saying in private...
fred, I take full responsibility for all comments on have made on this blog. I don't think its too much to ask for Snow to take responsibility for his comments made on his TV or radio shows.
Camp, fred, chuck, erick
My whole point is that we have been fed so much unvarnished bullshit by the Bush admin that we are as mushrooms in the mine.
To me its like using the porta johnny on the site in mid August temp: 95deg F, humidity 90%.
I am just sick of Bush/Cheney and the whole Neo cabal.
The Mafia in control of the Nation would be better than this gang of fukheads.
Fred,
Chuck calls a spade a spade. Hail Chuck
I vividly remember when the public had a coherent "Bullshit " alarm and could not be fooled by fools such as is happening today.
You should thank your God that persons like Chuck still call out our leaders and their pips.
Personally , I think that the climate I grew up in , just after the korean war, would be appropriate for today. In that era, somebody's ass would have been kicked up between his shoulder blades for acting like some of these clowns such as Delay, Abramhoff, Lay...
In essence, Bullshit was ID'd and dealt with , but most of all not much tolerated ----Today Bullshit Walks---Proudly
first time in my life I have ever been hailed.
Bravo ZULU , Chuck....look that one up.
