Republican Women: More Upsetting Then The Men?

Editor's Comment: For good reason, I am hostile towards the subjects of my story. However, I am just making exaggerated claims (and a little name calling), in an attempt to be funny - at least I think its sort of funny.

Jean Schmidt is the Republican woman that just won a seat in Congress during a 2005 special election, beating Iraqi veteran (and now personal hero, based on his amazing performance on The Daily Show where he mocked Senate Democrats and Republicans alike) Paul Hackett. Schmidt had not made any real headlines until she infamously called Vietnam Veteran John Murtha (D-PA) a coward on the House floor.

From that point on, there has been no woman I have wanted to punch in the face more then Jean Schmidt. I think of how a woman like that, with no military background, could call man that has served his country for years, first on the battlefields (risking his life) of Vietnam and then for decades in Congress, a coward. It is honestly infuriating. And it is also typical amongst Republicans. However, it just seems more infuriating out of a women - the very gender who, I believe, the Republicans seek to oppress.

Well, she is upsetting. However, it ends up that she is not just some disgusting, ill-mannered Republican: she is an openly corrupt liar.

First, she claims that Representatives Tom Tancredo of Colorado and Steve Chabot of Ohio have endorsed her 2006 reelection. They have not. She is lying.

Second, she claims to hold 2 Bachelor's degrees from the University to Cincinnati. She has not. She is lying. Also, she is the subject of an Ohio Ethics Investigation. She has taken money from Tom Delay's now-defunct ARMPAC, which is a total scam. She also has a series of ethical problems from her days in the Ohio State House. My favorite is how she took gifts she wasn't allowed to (at the very same time that Hackett was in Iraq) and then blamed it on Boomer Esiason.

Overall, in comparison to many Republicans, her lies and corruption isn't too bad. But she has only been in office for a year. Also, those comments she made about Murtha (click here to see the video) just make me so mad. Therefore, I needed to dedicate a post to blasting this b--ch. Now I can move on.

Related: Speaking of skanks, the getaway driver in Bush's stealing of the 2000 Election, Katherine Harris, is running for Senate. Well, her campaign is in shambles. Staff members keep quitting, and the every Republican is begging her to withdraw. She won't, and is, fortunately, guaranteeing a Democrat Bill Nelson's reelection. Katherine, I have an idea: instead of spending millions of your personal fortune on this losing race, use the money for a better plastic surgeon.

I SAID: "Well, she is upsetting. However, it ends up that she is not just some disgusting, ill-mannered Republican: she is an openly corrupt liar."

Now that I think about it, that statement doesn't make sense. I said "she is....Republican". By definition, that makes you a "corrupt liar", so my clarification on Schmidt was not necessary. Sorry for the confusion.

I just remembered another Republican woman I can't stand, perhaps my most hated: Mary Matalin. When she appears on TV I have one of those Kramer-like reactions that he had to Mary Hart's voice. Seriously, her voice infuriates me. Also, my hatred of her makes me also hate James Carville......how could any self-respecting human being be with a woman like that?

Chuck, I feel it too...that disgusting orverwhelming - vomit on your shoes feeling that I felt last night as I surfed over Hannity and saw Greta Van Sesteren (ADD HER TO THE SKANK LIST!)

What absolutely frosts my pumpkin is morons making demeaning, ignorant statements at Veterans. The statement that you referenced aimed at Murtha by Skankho Schmidt just flipped my switch. Murtha is a retired Marine Colonel who is well known as a military expert.

Lack of respect for these Veterans and coming from the "Patriotic Right" boils my bile.

I bet you are from a military family also...as family of veterans understand and respect theirs.

SUMMATION: Ignorant Hypocrites

Actually Carville & Matlin say that they drop all politics in their home and live in "Peace"

I can't hold Carville marrying a woman who shames the Bride of Frankenstein ----- Just have a look at Carville's beautiful Cajun Mug...Matlin's mother probably shit a bisquite when she first saw Jimbo.

I've dated a few Republican women. I think the novelty of opposites attract has some appeal. I think that personality issues trump political ones in a relationship.

I've read all of Carville's books except the new one co-written with Begala. Carville quotes a story of a man and woman taking a buggy into town only to cancel out eachother's vote. I like that story.

I really liked the Carville book I read. He has great ideas. However, to me, his credibility is shot.

I have dated 1 Republican. I ended it, primarily because i knew i could not be with a person that harbored such views

I had a Republican girlfriend who was a Christian fundamentalist. I could easily tell this because at night in bed she would often call out to GOD. & I am damn happy HE did not show up - would that have been EMBARRASSING!
