Sherrod Brown's First Ad - Updated

Ohio Democratic Candidate for Senate Sherrod Brown will launch his first campaign ad tomorrow across Ohio. The title of the ad is "33 Times," which is in reference to the number of times Brown has voted to cut taxes for the middle class. We thank the Brown Campaign for emailing us an early look.
Brown's tagline is "I'm Sherrod Brown and I approve this message. In the Senate, I'll put the middle class first." I love it.
Polling Update:
Mike DeWine 40%
Sherrod Brown 46%
Source: USA Today/Gallup Polls taken Aug. 23-27 of 584 likely in Ohio. +/- 5 points.

Funny comment, but all the polling indicates the race is close or has Sherrod leading. Is the conservative right going to turnout to vote for Mike Dewine when Blackwell is still getting blown out of the water?

I must say that the manner that DeWine & Brown are pandering for our votes in these commercials is putrid.

Although Brown' s are not "as" bad as Dewines.

But the public is shamelessly subjected to all this canned sound/byte mind diarhea.

Can't anyone come up with a better way to compete for an office?

How about tying their wieners together and throwing them over a clothes line?

Petey, your last suggestion would surely get attention.

When I worked at the poll last year, one lady was asking me for help explaining one of the issues and she said - no joke - "well I saw on the commercial that I'm supposed to vote no on this one..."

I almost cried.

I was just kidding about the old cat over the clothesline routine. Although, that would be an improvement over the current way we choose our leaders.

A visitor from another plant would observe that our present system is INSANE - & furthermore is designed to deliver ANYTHING but a fair, impartial election as prescribed & Necessary by the Spirit of our Nation.

As Yakov Smirnoff says:
"Votta Kuntree"

But Ben, you have to factor in all the corruption in the voting process which is slanted towards the right.

I think it not only possible---but I would bet that Blackwell may have succeeded in actually fixing his own election to the Statehouse
