Saddam is to be executed this weekend - that was fast. Reminder: he is being executed for mass murder. Years later, Bush & Company continued to befriend this mass murderer.....not sure why this fact is continuously ignored.

Congress recently passed the Lugar-Obama anti-proliferation bill. Lugar (R-IN) and Obama (Pres-2008) have been working together on this issue for a while. First, it is nice to see Obama working well with the Republicans on an important issue. Second, this is a really important issue. In their debate, both Kerry and Bush said this was the most important issue for national security. Good to see Obama take the lead on this crucial issue.

A little belated, but a good friend of mine made some of these creating cards for Moveon.org.

About two years too late, the Swift Boat ads are officially declared illegal.

Michael B. Wallace, a lawyer and friend of Trent Lott, was nominated to the federal court. For the first in about 25 years, the ABA unanimously rated him as "unqualified." These are the type of people Bush seeks to nominate. Thank goodness Democrats control, and can stop crap like this.

Back in November, the United States bombed a school in Pakistan. 82 children were killed. For some reason this story went totally unreported, but it is true. Imagine the opposite scenario: an Arab nation, who we are not at war with, sent bombs into our country, killing 82 American children. Americans would not put up with that and would demand retribution - so why do Pakistanis have to put up with it?

Amazing Saddam will be executed so quickly. It will be interesting to see if it goes through and then to follow the world's reaction. I would be curios to know how Saddam's quick execution plays into the Bush Administration's roll out of their new plans for Iraq.

The Swift Boat ad was one of three groups that got fined - along with MoveOn and Leauge of Conservation voters, liberal groups. The three were fined not because of content but because of 527/FEC/money issues.

judges: appointing someone that is "unanimously unqualified" is a historic event. go back to celebrating old people losing their life-aiding medications so they can be liberated from the "crutch" of government assistance.

swift boats: when you operate in violation of the law, you are acting illegally. making my statement about the swift boaters accurate.

Why doesn't someone comment on the situation in Pakistan. It is outrageous. If I was a person in Pakistan, an event like that would be unforgiveable. Then, if I was poor and had little to look forward to in life, I would certainly be dedicated to attacking the perpetrators of the disgraceful bombing. Any thoughts?

or is it just obvious that the US acted shamefully, and we should just ignore it??????

i'm going to bottom-line it for you.

your decision to make political hay out of this private family matter was overly opportunistic, immature, pathetic and classless.

the most productive, mature, non-pathetic and classy thing you could do in response to the situation (one last time) would be to commit a portion of your income to finding a solution to this problem and work with your family to do the same. it won't make for great bomb-lobbing material on your BLOG, but it will solve the problem.

and that's the point, right? i mean, what kind of stupid, self-absorbed punk would write about the matter on the internet, then not be actively involved in finding a solution? right?

right? that's got to be right.

right?

yes it is "accurate" but you decline to mention the two liberal groups involved, and you dont mention why any of them were illegal, hoping that people will think they were declared illegal because of content, which was not the case.

I realize no on wants children killed however is the 82 number real? Or is it more of the reportng that came out of Lebanon during Islreal's "invasion"that in most cases was sensationalized and in most cases turned out to be very inaccurate.
