Clinton v. Obama: The Clinton campaign demanded that Obama return DreamWorks studio co- founder David Geffen's money after Geffen criticized the Clintons as dishonest. Clinton evidently believes you cannot accept money from people that criticize your opponents. Of course, Obama refused this absurd demand.

Republican Prostitution: Prostitute Jeff Gannon is back. Remember, Gannon was a fake reporter for the fake Talon News, which was set up by Bush people to spread right-wing propaganda.....you know, how they do it in Russia. Gannon, a male prostitute, visited the White House over 200 times. I guess he was giving fellow gay Republicans that much action, its no wonder he is back for more.

Justice for the Privileged: The son of Arizona's Senate president confessed that he shoved broomsticks and flashlights into the rectums of 18 boys (ages 11 to 14) in at least 40 incidents at a youth camp in June. His friend faced additional assault charge for choking three of the boys until they passed out. Well, these bastard little kids of privilege that have daddy's in charge of the Arizona government got probation and the offenses will be considered misdemeanors.

I Broke Down: I went to see Oscar-nominated The Queen this weekend, at my girlfriend's request. It made me very proud to be an American. That royal family thing is an embarrassment to humanity, and the portrayal of Tony Blair showed early signs of why he so eagerly bent over for W's invasion of Iraq.

The Oscars: The Oscars are tomorrow. I will be rooting for my favorite movie of the year, Little Miss Sunshine. I am pretty sure this is the first time that a movie I actually liked had a real chance at winning. Also, good luck to 2000 President-elect Al Gore for his nominations relating to An Inconvenient Truth. I may or may not watch, based on my ability to tolerate Ellen.

By the way, tying the death of Princess Diana to the Iraq war branded my as completely insane to my girlfriend. Perhaps.

Nothing on the hotels. I usually stay at friends places. There are about 8000 restaurants downtown. And the beach. Plus, Coronado island, with the military base woudl be right up your alley.

You should stay with Troy and Kevin when you go out there.

I dont want Gore to win but it is pretty clear his sham movie will win based on politics of the voters.

Ben, I have relatives, all over the area. Problem is I am taking my disabled wife and my parents in their 80's. I almost have to rent an ambulance to haul their asses around and cant really stay with anyone unless their are no firearms, knives, bayonets, axes or other nasty stuff of any kind on the premises.

If my mother or wife find so much as ant poop in a room - they bitch up a goddam storm.

If you can imagine, traveling with my family is like a macabre sitcom.

Me - I am 55, cranky as all hell, but still in fairly good shape.

SD is sacred ground for us bacause the whole family served there in the US Navy - Mostly WWII, Korea, Vietnam. We will be going to see my uncle Leo in Rosecrans Military Cemetery on Point Loma. Leo was a WWII Corpsman.

I cant wait to see the USS Midway & The Military Cemetery on Point Loma.

& a giant drink w/an umbrella in it will do me fine.

FYI: I asked a few friends who are scientists and they say the Gore's film is right on - very scientific.

Its only those who oppose Gore politically that are trashing it - The scientists are in general agreement of the climate facts presented therein

I like how Geffen said the Clintons lie and Hillary is divisive. Then, Clinton's camp said Geffen was Obama's financial chief, but he wasn't. A lie! And doing crap like this will divide people even more. Geffen's comments, while true, were pretty trivial. Nothing about the issues.

Speaking of Issues, Psychobilly Democrat pointed out that Hillary's website doesn't mention Issues at all. I find that hilarious! We're just supposed to like her for her name? Personally, I like Obama for the issues.

Not only the like/dislike thing. In science, respect for the scientific method would dictate that one respect anothers work even if he is a lowdown sniveling shitbird in one's personal opinion.

Thats the problem with pure politics - it warps one view of reality

& Besides that: Heidi Cullen is such a little sexpot : What guy would argue anything she says about global warming?

Here's one thing to keep in mind, AL GORE IS NOT A POLITICIAN anymore!! He is a person with notoriety who is trying to educate people about an important issue.

Good Point Terra,
Gore has stated that its his life's mission (Mission From God, Blues Bros)to educate about climate change.

Good for Al Gore!
