This is yesterday's response to the revelation that Republican Senator David Vitter used his position in Congress to have sex with hookers. I am glad God told him his apology was accepted.
I am more interested if the Republican Vitter apologized for his more serious sins. How about his refusal to assess blame to President Bush's handling of Hurricane Katrina? Or that he totally pussed out and abstained from voting for a vote for an Independent Commission in the Bush failure/homicide during the Katrina crisis? He showed his Republican colors and joined his part to block a real investigation, because he would not embarrass his Republican party.....even though the Bush/Republican Administration failure KILLED his Louisiana constituents.
And I really hope he apologized for telling the national media as the citizens of New Orleans were not getting any help that everyone was overreacting and that New Orleans was not really flooding. YOU KILLED PEOPLE SENATOR! Your comments and others like them caused apathy in all federal response, which denied people a chance to live!
And I hope he apologized for comparing the devastation of Hurricane Katrina to the devastation civil unions for gays cause. I sure hope that ass knows that 1000 Americans being executed by apathy is worse than gays having the right to visit their loved one in a hospital room.
Conclusion: Vitter is typical Republican dirt. The sex with a hooker is just the cherry on top of the dirt pile.

- 911 dispatcher relays to the EMS people: "stop by this guys house when you get a chance, his wife needs a look - she's having chest pains"
That heart attack victim is your family member. She dies,after the fire dept shows up 45 minutes later. Do you think you would blame EMS?

I really liked Vitter and thought he was a good guy and a rising star for us.
