I watched the Democratic Presidential Debate last night. What I saw was John Edwards and Barack Obama challenging the front runner. Edwards criticism was more biting and direct. I have to say that Edwards just isn't as sharp as he used to be. He had great convincing portions of rhetoric followed by nonsense. Obama stuck with the strategy he has used in previous debates of drawing distinctions rather than necessarily attacking Senator Clinton. It kind of looked at times like Edwards and Obama were throwing a one-two punch against Senator Clinton. Senator Dodd also gave a very eloquent statement about Senator Clinton's electability, which I agreed with. Bill Richardson tried to jump in and back Hillary up a little bit by saying that the candidates need to be more positive. I think Dodd, Edwards, and Obama raised question about Hillary being our nominee because their campaigns know that is how many Democrats are feeling.
What made this debate different in my mind is that Hillary was finally treated like a front runner by the other Democrats. She was challenged by everyone. I think it is about time and I didn't hear anything in last night's debate that I felt was out of line. I'm going to be curious to see how this debate is viewed by the media and our readers.

I missed the debate, but I am glad that to hear the attack is on. i think there needs to be direct attacks on her robotic style....but then again, obama has tightened up, so he loses a bit of the high ground.
but her Iran stance, in a pure way to pander to general election voters, is unacceptable.

Just an observation: Did anyone else notice that every time Clinton was attacked / contrasted she refused to attack back at the person doing the attacking? She just reverted to attacking Bush. There was no rape in the Superdome. Please direct me to any reputable news source that hasn't retracted those rumors. In Spike Lee’s Documentary “When The Levees Broke,” the police chief of New Orleans talks about how he did not verify those rumors and how it was a mistake to leak them to the media because they turned out not true. Silent, please direct me to your evidence that there was rape in the superdome rather than continuing to encourage this false belief.

F. Those forensic teams were also in charge of putting those collected bodies into cold storage areas and tried to obtain identification of the dead.
