Obama, Bloomberg in 08!
You heard it here first: Obama to choose Bloomberg as his running mate!!!Maybe.
Today in midtown Manhattan the two met in some dinner a few blocks from my work for an unannounced top secret omelet. This has started a buzz that Bloomberg, who has no love for Hillary, may endorse Barack.
Well, I'm taking it a step further. I'm calling it. Bloomberg will join Obama on the ballot and the announcement will come before the primaries. This will rock Hillary and save the universe! [picture Ewoks dancing to Caribbean music]

I have it on good authority that Hillary is on the brink of announcing that Babs has accepted the offer to be her VP. She will have two functions. 1. Sing at state dinners 2. Hang all the White House laundry out to dry.

I am very hopeful for the endorsement. and I generally think the idea of having the VP set before the primaries is good. and I like Bloomberg.
But I don't want Bloomberg as the VP. Obama needs a strong, experienced military voice as VP.

I have been saying Obama/Clark for over a year.
But Clark has endorsed Hillary, so not sure if it will happen.
Here are some better Combos:
Biden/Edwards (tough old bird + brainy charisma)
Biden/Obama (contrasting mix)
Edwards/Obama ( a load of youthful exuberance here)
Biden/Richardson (wide appeal to many groups)
Edwards/Richardson

Wesley Clarke isn't going to get the VP spot. Stop dreaming, and lets be realistic here.
Obama is definately not going to chose a Democrat as his running mate if he does run, because it's just pure genious not to. What Democrat is actually worthy of the VP spot? Hillary will not accept the position, Edwards has too much Kerry/Edwards baggage, people already forgot who Dodd was, Biden is a racist, Kucinich is bat shit crazy, Richardson is a idiot, and so on.
If Obama wins the nomination, its clear he will chose a moderate or some what elft Republican or independent as his running mate. He's going to be trying to pick up as many votes as possible, and this will deffinately off set the fact that he is black. If he gets Bloomberg evangelicals might even throw their morals out of the window and consider voting for Obama.
It would also be a great idea to get Huckabee as his running mate, because he can prety much do anything and the Republicans go nuts. The line about Jesus not getting into politcs @ the you tube debate wasn't funny, and he avoided the question, and yet Republicans just think he's so honost and hilarious.
Hagel would be an alright choice, but Bloomberg would clearly be the best choice.
