I think he would have stayed in, if he thought he could gain 15% of the delegates. But it has been looking increasingly like he would not. Like Rudy, there is no point in staying in if you are going to look bad.
I loved Edwards in 2004, on par with my feelings for Obama now. I still have good feelings for him and hope Obama names him AG.

I think considering his wife's health situation, it's best he drops out sooner than later. She's going to
need his time and attention.

Note: I think him withdrawing is bad news for Obama, unless he endorses him soon.

He seems to be a good family man and I admire him if he puts his family interest up front.

I also tend to think that his voters are likely to tend to gravitate to Hillary. Not in huge numbers, but more so than to Obama.
I must agree. Now that my presidential hopeful is out of the race I feel more compelled to vote for hillary, but I am not set on that.
