Exciting News!We now have our own custom icon when you add The Chief Source to the home screen of your iphone. It will automatically appear on your phone when you add us to your home screen.
How to do it?
Fellow bloggers, here is a link to a short tutorial on how to add the code to your template. It is actually pretty easy.
My Take On The iphone
I got the iphone a couple months ago. I wanted to upgrade to a cell phone that allowed me to check my email and access the internet when I needed to. I had looked at the Blackberry devices, other brand PDAs, and read a lot of online reviews for a slew of products. I was also a loyal Verizon customer who was skeptical of AT&T. In general, I am very brand loyal and it is tough for me to switch.
Pros - The four major functions of the iphone - phone, email, internet, itunes - are set up to be extremely user friendly. As a phone, it is phenomenal. The voice quality itself is good, but it is the way you can set up all your information that makes it so great. The way the contacts rolodex is set up makes it easy to call or text any of your contacts quickly. The visual voicemail is also addicting. The email is flawless, particularly if you have multiple email accounts. The internet with Safari is probably the best feature of the phone. Google maps, the weather, and iphone formatted websites are what I tend to check most. PoliTicker and FoxNews are the two sites I check the most on my phone. I haven't put much music on my phone, but I have put a lot of pictures. I could also see myself downloading video clips or movies before my next flight to kill time. The screen is extremely clear and the camera on the phone takes great pictures.
Cons - AT&T drops more calls than Verizon. Also, the service area is not as expansive. I find myself having to go upstairs or outside more frequently to get a signal. It also takes some patience to learn how to use many of the features on the iphone. I'm still learning (which I view as a pro). If you are looking for a simple phone, this isn't for you. But, it is extremely satisfying to figure different things out.
Overall - I would highly recommend this phone so you can add our new icon to your home screen.

The iPhone is a great device but its pricey and I despise AT&T. Even though I'm a diehard Apple user,
I opted for the Motorola Q.... at $50 with rebate it's a
bargain. It's not as good as an the iPhone, but when I eventually drop the Q on the sidewalk, and I will, I won't cry as much.
I've heard the iPhone's screen doesn't hold up to well when dropped. I hope to not find out anytime soon.
i'll probably get an iphone when they are not cool anymore....much like my recent switch to the razor phone.
Kyle-
Did you look into the Blackberry Pearl? I have one and am pleased with it. It's pretty simple to use and has alot more features that I will never figure out. I heard the iphone gets really hot even when it's just in your pocket. With summer just around the corner that might be something to watch out for.

KTR, I haven't had any heat issues. I'll keep my eye on it though.
The use of the word "Loyal" should not be used to describe yourself. Your a short sighted fool and this "blog" is a joke. "This post will be deleted in 5..4..3..2..1.."poof!"
iPhone. So 2007. LOL. I love mine. Any device that allows you to photograph Jill Zimon in a tight fighting Dancers for Democracy shirt and email it to your friends right away ain't all bad. ;-)
where can I get pictures of jills sweater meat in a tight shirt Eric?
